We had kind of an ongoing BD celebration for Ella. Last weekend we did a combined neighborhood party for Ella and our neighbors Jacob and Luke. We had a soup pot luck with vegetable beef soup, corn chowder, white chicken chili and black bean soup and, of course, cake and cupcakes. Ella wanted a My Little Pony cake, but we also had Cars and Elmo cupcakes for the boys.
For her actual birthday, Ella requested pancakes and sausage for her special breakfast. She opened her presents - a My Little Pony Play-Doh playset, Princess Viewmaster and new outfit from us and a pair of new tennis shoes and My Little Pony coloring book from her siblings. We went to church and came home to have pizza (her favorite) for lunch. After dinner, we had homemade chocolate pie with a "4" candle on top.
We still have to take her for her free Cold Stone ice cream, probably during the day tomorrow since Caleb is out of school all week.
Happy Birthday, baby girl! I can't believe it has been 4 years since you entered our world. God has blessed us every day since then with your sweet smile and tender heart. We love you so much!
P.S. Sorry for the poor picture quality - my camera is being repaired so I had to use the video camera to take some still pics.
