Cousin Time!

We were so excited to get a quick visit from our Alabama family.  As usual, the time flew by and we wish we could have spent more time together.  Next time we see them, they will be a family of 8 - we can't wait to meet that sweet baby girl!  Thanks, Aunt Ella for the instagram pics!

The last night they were here, we arranged for our sitter to come with her sister and another girl, and they watched all ten kids at our house so the grown-ups could have a date night!  We had dinner with two other couples in our neighborhood and then hung out by the fire pit in our neighbor's backyard.  I am sure it was utter chaos in our house, but I know the kids had a great time together (as did the grown-ups).

A Day at the Farm

Last week we visited Green Meadows Farm with our family from Arizona. It was a lot less crowded than when we usually go with playgroup in the fall and I had lots of people helping with the kids! Usually I spend the entire day chasing stray kids and miss out on the tour - this time I actually got to hear everything the tour guide told us.
