Prayer for Mommy

Riding in the car is always an experience with little ones... You never know if they will talk your ear off, fight constantly, fall asleep when they aren't supposed to, or any combination of those things. This morning I had some errands to run, so I went through the routine of getting all of our stuff in the car and trying to get everyone out the door and in their seats. Why does it take me like 30 minutes just to get the car loaded? Anyway, I was carrying a drink in one hand and Lillian in her car seat in the other hand while trying to get all of us out the back door but not trip myself or one of them and fall down the stairs. I spilled my drink all over myself in the process and my back was killing me - about once a month I throw out my lower back and have to go to the chiropractor to get it fixed. What a relief when we were all in our seats and it was time to back out of the driveway, which, for those of you who have been to our house, is another challenge in itself. Anyway, I was not having nice thoughts at this point of the morning, so I asked Caleb to pray that Jesus would heal Mommy's back and make me feel better. He said okay, and asked his sister to be quiet so he could pray. I turned down the radio and had to strain to hear him: "Dear God, please help my mommy's back feel better. Thank you for the love (?) and help her back not to hurt so she doesn't feel so grumpy. Amen."

Praise God for your heart for the community. Our family is beginning to serve in the community around our church. We plan to move closer soon.

I prayed for God to give you a vision as to what you can do. Take care.
