Ballerina Girl

Lillian started her pre-ballet class at the rec center this week. Seems like only yesterday Ella was wearing this same tutu and hanging out with Miss Rosie once a week for her class. Ella gave Lillian lots of pointers ahead of time ("if you listen to Miss Rosie, she will give you candy at the end of class"). Two years ago, we had to sit and wait in the lobby but now there is a fancy new play area down the hall where the others can play for the thirty minutes or so that Lillian is in class.

I think there are a lot of girls in this town who have been in Miss Rosie's class at one time or another! And she always remembers older siblings! I can't even remember my own kids' names most of the time.

This is just a cute picture of Lillian I took at her well check appointment the other day (yes, her birthday was almost 2 months ago and she is just now going). She is growing proportionately well although still only 25th percentile for height and weight - her younger brother weighs just a few ounces less than she does! Maybe her small stature will help in her dancing!
