We love birthdays around here because it usually means a meal at Texas Cattle Company. You can't beat a free steak dinner on your special day and I love any excuse for a good steak when it isn't my birthday! Poor Daddy missed it last summer when he went with us to Indiana for our friends' wedding - he wasn't gonna miss it this time!
I didn't have a "7" candle, so I had to get creative. Note to self: next time, check the candle drawer ahead of time.
Strawberry Key Lime Cake and two flavors of ice cream... Birthday Cake for the kids and Butter Pecan for the grown-ups. Yum!Happy Birthday, Daddy! So glad we got to help you celebrate.
