Belated Birthday Post

I realize this post is a whole week late, but we are trying to figure out how to upload a video clip from our friend Austin's phone to the blog. So, for now, just photos!

Knowing he isn't really into big parties or get-togethers, I asked Scott what he wanted to do for his birthday and his first response was "Go to Disney World by myself..." Not that he wanted to be there by himself, he just wanted to be able to go for free on his birthday with the new promotion they have, and we would have to take out a second mortgage to take our whole family. I convinced him that spending his birthday by himself isn't really the point of celebrating, so he settled instead on getting as many free birthday meals as he could in one day.

He took CB with him to breakfast at Fred's Market for a breakfast buffet, we all went to BD's Mongolian Grill for lunch with Grandaddy, Granmommy and Terani, then back home to enjoy some cookie cake with more friends and family. Later that evening we went with Austin to Texas Cattle Company so Scott could get his free birthday steak dinner (I filled up on their yummy salad with blue cheese crumbles on top - don't tell my OB), then to see Grand Torino with some of our free movie rain checks left over from Caleb's birthday party.

We still have his free Cold Stone ice cream coupon to use! Gotta love those birthday freebies, and I got a whole day off from cooking.
So happy belated birthday, Scott (Daddy). We love you so much and are so thankful for you. Hopefully your birthday was just as fun and relaxing as you would have hoped.
