I Did What?

Today I did something I swore I would never ever do. I let my children (yes, all three of them, even the 10 month old) eat ice cream for lunch... which of course meant that I got to do the same thing! The older kids each had a scoop of Birthday Cake with sprinkles in it and I tried something called Jungle Love - a concoction with banana ice cream, macadamia nuts and semi-sweet chocolate chunks in it. Lillian tried it all. It was really good ice cream, some brand I had never heard of before but of course have already forgotten the name of since I ate it a short time ago. We walked downtown this morning to the kid's museum and I decided to see if SugaRush, the new candy store right up the street from it, was open. We tried to go on Saturday and they were closed, which was a huge disappointment for all of us. It is a really neat place - a little pricey but something that will be a fun treat every once in a while. And I gotta tell ya, that was the best ice cream I have had in a long time... ranks right up there with Baskin Robbins chocolate peanut butter. Next time I have to try the fudge. I love summer!
